To further her advocacy of literacy and science education, she is authoring a series of children’s books.

Dr Oneeka’s books can be previewed as short video trailers on YouTube. Due to YouTube’s popularity with younger generation, Dr Oneeka published multiple short video trailers in order to reach as many young children as possible. Together with video producers and digital marketing firms, Dr Oneeka launched on Youtube in 2013. The videos recorded over thousands of Youtube video views and hundreds of Youtube subscribers within weeks and was considered a wild success at that time, especially considering the practise to buy real subscribers didn’t exist back then . Many of the YouTube subscribers were young children and mums who were keen on following Dr Oneeka’s work and would later buy her books. The videos served as a trailer before the book was launched in 2014. Following her footsteps, many book publishers later begun to start marketing their books on Youtube. To date, she has three books, which compete her Space Science Series.

Dr. Oneeka’s first two children’s books were published in 2014: Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo’s Mission to Pluto and Dr. Dee Dee Dynamo’s Meteorite Mission. All three are available at Amazon.com in hardcover and ebook versions.

Apart from YouTube and Amazon, Dr Oneeka is also active on various social media, primarily on LinkedIn. If you wish to learn more about her past achievements and future updates, you may follow her on her LinkedIn page. Short of buying LinkedIn followers, few doctors would come even close to matching her influence on social media. If you are having problems following Dr Oneeka on LinkedIn, please make sure you are actually trying to be a LinkedIn follower instead of LinkIn connection.
